About this service

“Daily German” (supatagesschau.jwais.com) is a personal, non-commercial German-learning project. It fetches the publicly available tagesschau 20 Uhr news podcast every day and automatically produces transcripts, Traditional Chinese / English translations, and CEFR-graded learning material published on this website.

Automated social-media publishing

This service uses official platform APIs to automatically publish a summary of the daily learning content to the account owner’s own social-media accounts (e.g. LinkedIn, Threads), acting as the account owner. Details:

  • Scope of access: only the minimum permissions required to post on the owner’s own behalf and to read the owner’s basic identifier (used to form the author identity) are requested.
  • No posting for others: the service only publishes to the authorizing owner’s own account. It never accesses or posts to any third party’s account.
  • Token storage: OAuth access tokens are stored only on the owner’s private server. They are never made public, never shared with any third party, and are used solely for the automated publishing described above.

Data collection and use

  • This service does not collect personal data from website visitors, and does not perform user tracking or behavioral analytics.
  • This service does not sell, trade, or share any personal data with third parties.
  • The only stored credential is the social-media OAuth token, kept on a private server for automated publishing only, and can be revoked at any time from each platform’s authorization settings.
